Name: Sarah Jane Smith Do not call her: SJ or Old girl, old thing or anything that begins with old Point in canon she's after: My canon time line goes like this: Dreamland --> School Reunion --> Invasion of the Bane -- > First season of SJA ; Sarah comes in after that point. Fandom: Doctor Who/Sarah Jane Adventures Age: 56 History Anything before the Doctor can be found here. After she met the Doctor, (Three) she was with him into his regeneration into Four and onwards. She did the normal companion things, taggling along side Harry Sullivan when he was with them for a short time. More about that can be read here. After she was dropped off during K-9 she went back home to live with her Aunt Lavinia. She meets her Aunt's charge, Brendan and receives K-9 not too long afterwards. After some run-ins with a coven of witches, Brendan dies. She leaves Aunt Lavinias and takes on a couple of odd jobs here and there. She gets back in touch with Harry Sullivan and the Brigadier and sees them on a regular basis. Eventually her meetings with Harry are fewer and fewer but they always met at a special place once a year to catch up. Soon she got a job with Planet 3, a television station and began to report the news for them. She moved up in roles and eventually got herself her own series. She's an investigative journalist, and in the way of hidden camera stories, mostly she works undercover to take down big cooperations. It's here that she meets Natalie Redfern, whom will be her closest friend, and support in the times to come. Natalie is a brilliant girl who can hack her way into anything and set up fake names and the like for Sarah's reports. However, Sarah is eventually set up by a company whom she believes is guilty, and gathers evidence against them. The evidence turns out to be false, and Sarah is immediately fired. With her friend Nat (who also worked at Planet Three) she started to do her own investigations and was working at a bank when it was robbed. Her life was saved by Josh Townsend, who would become her best friend and lover, and her guardian angel. It turned out that Hilda Winters wanted her dead and tried to kill her on several occassions, though Josh saved her each time. Turns out it was worse then she imagined. A cult called the Orbus Postramo (Orphans of the Future) was divided into two chapters: The White Chapter and the Red Chapter. The White Chapter believed aliens were coming with a comet to save Earth, but the Red Chapter believed the aliens were coming to wipe everyone out. Their Book of Tomorrows talked of a woman called the Herald, whos name was Sarah and whose initials were SJS and looked just like Sarah Jane. The Red Chapter wanted to kill her, and the White Chapter wanted to save her. The Red Chapter had hired Hilda to kill Sarah. Josh had been sent to save Sarah from the Red Chapter, and eventually they got rid of the Red Chapter, but almost paid the price when Josh and Sarah went up into space on the Dauntless, the pilot turned out to be from the Red Chapter, and shot Josh, leaving Sarah to asphyxiate. Sarah does not remember exactly what happened to her on board. She just knows that Josh died, and that Natalie no longer wants to speak to her, despite her many attempts. She tried to move on, deciding to check out a little school, when she discovered the Doctor yet again, along with Rose Tyler and Mickey Smith. She decided to stay home, instead of go with him, though the Doctor gave her some things to help her along. He gave her the sonic lipstick, a new version of K-9, a watch that scans for alien life, and the biggest present, Mr Smith. Mr. Smith is a computer that the Doctor built inside her new home on Bannerman road. Along with her neighbor, she helped get rid of the Bane from taking over by way of soda pop. She took a 13 year old boy whom the Bane had created home with her, and adopted him. He was grown, and not born, and that is why Sarah keeps him away somewhere safe. Since then she's been through Slitheen, Gorgons, the Kudlak, and The Trickster and has saved the world more times then she can count with the help of Luke, Maria and Clyde and even Maria's father Alan. Personality: Sarah is above all, a feminist and a journalist. Whatever a man can do, she can do better. She doesn't like men to wait on her, open doors, or any other thing she can do on her own. She hates the fact that men are always getting treated better, and though society has obviously gotten better about such things, she's definitely of the opinion that she can do it better then most everyone. Being a journalist means that Sarah is nosey. Very nosey. About everything. She'll ask a million questions, and meddle in when it's none of her business. She means well though. She's stubborn, a very hard worker and a bit in her old age getting to be like the Doctor. Lately she's been very, very paranoid and has no idea what her life will bring her. Notes: I personally am down for all kinds of RP. I don't have a squick factor, so bring on the gore and the violence and the sex. I don't think Sarah will blink an eye at anything really. Unless you're acting dumb. And neither will I. Also, my kingdom for someone who actually listens to the audios and thinks they're the best thing since sliced bread like I do.
